Registration desk

Workshop/Tutorials on September 15-16: the registration desk is located at the Department of Computer Science, Building E, ground floor.

Main Conference on September 17-19: the registration desk is located at the Rectorate building basemen (CIAO – HELLO Area)

Admission

Participants are kindly requested to wear their badge during all event activities to be admitted to the sessions and all the areas of the congress. 

No online streaming is provided; all presentations must be delivered on-site. 

All presenters MUST attend the entire session they are allocated to.

Poster Area 

The Main Conference poster area is located from September 17 to 19 at the Rectorate building, first floor. 

Presenters are required to check their session in the Conference Program, to stand by their Poster during the assigned session and to remove their poster after. The Organizers are not responsible for posters that have not been collected at the end of the Conference.

Coffee Breaks/Lunch

Workshop/Tutorials: participants will receive one coupon per day to enjoy coffee and snacks at the café of the Department of Computer Science “BAR REGINA ELENA” on September 15 and 16. Please remember to hand in your coupon at the bar.

Main Conference: from September 16 to 19 coffee breaks will be offered at the Rectorate building, floor 1.

Please note: lunches will not be provided; participants are invited to make their own lunch arrangements.

Cloakroom

No cloakroom service is available at the Conference venues.

Please note that it is not possible to enter the Aula Magna of the Rectorate with luggage (trolley type) and to bring drinks or food.

WI-FI

All meeting areas are covered by free Wi-Fi connection through the network of the Roma Universities “Sapienza” during the duration of the Conference. You will receive your personal credentials with the badge.

How to connect

Sapienza Wi-Fi:

1. Make sure your network adapter is set to ‘DHCP - Obtain an IP address Automatically’

2. Connect to SSID: sapienza

3. Open your web browser, you'll be redirect to a captive page

4. Enter your username and password in the spaces provided

Eduroam Wi-Fi:

Eduroam is also available throughout the conference venues. If your institution participates in the eduroam federation, you can connect using your home institution credentials.

Responsibility

This service is provided as-is. All network access is monitored and logged. Any unauthorized access or illegal activity will result in account closure and will be reported to the appropriate university staff or the legal authority. University networking staff reserves the right to disable any attendees account at any time and without notice.

Certificates

Certificate of attendance will be sent by email to all participants after the event.

No smoking

Smoking in the Meeting area is not allowed. Please note that Smoking is prohibited inside restaurants, bars, public buildings throughout the Country. 

Mobile phones

Participants are kindly requested to set their mobile phones on silent mode in the Rooms where sessions are being held.

Insurance

Congress organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries or for loss of or damage to property belonging to congress participants, either during or because of the Event. Therefore, please check the validity of your own insurance.

Language

English is the official language.

Currency

The currency in Rome is the Euro (EUR). Most establishments accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex). ATMs are easily accessible throughout the city.

Emergency Contacts

112 is the Emergency number to call for any type of emergency, active 24 hours a day for police, medical emergency and fire.

Electricity

Paris uses a 230-volt electrical system. Make sure you have an adapter for European style plugs with two round prongs.

Time Zone

Rome operates on Central European Time (CET).
